Adding Events

Introduction

This lesson will teach you one method of creating Events. Events have a start time and an end time. You can add as many tags and comments to an event as you would like.

Position Playhead

Position the playhead at the location where you would like the event to start. The video or audio file can be playing or stopped.

Select Create Event at Playhead

Select the Create Event at Playhead button.

Resize Event

Place the cursor over either edge of the event to adjust the event start or end time.

Here is an example of the event after it has been resized.

Rename the Event

Double-click on the event title below the playback controls to rename the even.t

In this example we have renamed the event "My First Event".
