Opening the Tag Manager

Introduction

The Tag Manager is used to create predefined Tag Sets. By using Tag Sets you can create a standard set of criteria that will be used to review similar performances. For example, if you are using MediaNotes in a course you could give all of the students a tag set that listed the skills they were supposed to look for in the video they were analyzing.

Tags in tag sets can have:

• Descriptions
• Example media
• Boilerplate comments

This will be covered in later lessons.

Select Tag Manager

To open the Tag Manager, select Tag Manager from the Tags menu.

Open or Create a File

From this screen you can:

1. Create a file.
2. Open a recent file.
3. Open a file that does not appear in the Recent Files list.
