This lesson will teach you what the icons on the Timeline represent.
The following elements are located on the Timeline area:
1. Timeline Overview: Here you can see the location of the playhead in relation to the complete video/audio file.
2. Playhead
3. Event
4. Time ticks
This image shows:
1. Timeline Boundary markers
2. Volume level
4. Zoom level
5. Current time of playhead location
6. Total time in video/audio file
The diamonds in the graphic to the right represent the current bounds of the timeline. The left. The blue circle represents the current location of the playhead. The Timeline Boundary markers can help you quickly see how much of the video/audio file is currently being displayed on the Timeline.
In this example we have repositioned the playhead. You can see that the Timeline Bound markers have not moved but the location of the blue circle has.
In this example we have decreased the zoom level. You can see that the Timeline Boundary markers are now further apart since more of the video file is visible on the Timeline.
