Timeline List

Introduction

This lesson will give you a quick overview of the Timeline List. The Timeline List displays all events in chronological order for the current media. You can use the Timeline List to:

1. Jump to events
2. Delete events
3. Rename events
4. Add/remove tags from events
5. Add comments to events

Display Options

The Show Details checkbox will control what information is shown in the Timeline List. With Show Details unchecked you will see:

1. Event Title
2. First line of comments
3. Tags

Details Checked

With Details checked will now see:

1. Event start time, end time and duration
2. Full comment text

Adding Tags To Events in the Timeline List

You can add tags to the events in the Timeline List by dragging them from the Tag Palette.

Editing Comments

Double-click on comments to edit them.

Event Contextual Menu

Right click on the event title or comments to:

1. Play the event.
2. Rename the event
3. Delete the event.

Tags Contextual Menu

Right click on a tag to:

1. Remove the tag from the event.
2. Set the event title to the tag name.
